The BSEE Long-Term Sequestration of Carbon Dioxide Project, managed by RSDC Group in collaboration with Alankok LLC, aimed to support the Department of Interior (DOI) Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) in developing regulations for the long-term sequestration of carbon dioxide on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). RSDC Group's responsibilities included developing a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP), editing and compiling Preamble and Rulemaking documents, and creating a Stakeholder/Communication Plan. The team also supported rulemaking meetings and developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the project's success.
RSDC Group successfully delivered high-quality technical edits for the 878-page Rulemaking document and the 528-page Preamble document. The team's efforts were recognized for their readability and overall content quality, receiving positive feedback from the client. Although the contract was eventually canceled for convenience, RSDC Group's contributions significantly advanced the project's goals and demonstrated their expertise in managing complex regulatory projects.
